When you blow a candle out,

Story of the Song
Candlelight services at the high school sessions of Rowe Camp -- a Unitarian Universalist camp in Rowe, MA -- have stayed etched in my memory. Back in 1965 Peg Barrett said that the light of a candle goes inside of you when you blow it out. I’ve never forgotten her insight.
Workshop Suggestion: This song can be used at the end of a workshop to close the circle. Pause for a moment and think about what you are drawing inside and taking with you. At Journey Camp we imagine that a candle has been lit during the day’s experience, and consciously blow out the candle of the day together after reflecting upon enjoyable and memorable times.
