This year there will be two international staff members, one from Japan and one from Mexico. Kitomi Takano, age 24, graduated with a Masters in Peace Education from the University of Peace in Costa Rica. When Sarah came to her university in March and gave a talk to the students about her experiences developing methods of peace education, Kitomi set out to be an intern and will be working at both sessions of Girls Weeks.
Dewey Gelnaw-Brickley, camp manager is using her considerable graphic skills to create a choice of T shirts celebrating the 25 years of camp. We’ll let you know when they are ready and give you a chance to see the designs.
We are planning a big party and ask people who want to be sure to be there to send in their favorite time of year to hold the event.
